This month we were invited to run two craft workshops inspired by London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which is on the edge of International Quarter, a new residential and business hub in Stratford, East London. Over the Summer and Autumn the site had a pop up cafe called Calico and this is where we held two sessions to inspire local residents to get creative: Needle felted insects and nature lanterns - all the jars for this were donated by a local cafe so it really was a community affair.
