Want to get creative but need a hand? The Make Escape is here to help! Run by two crafty souls Momtaz Begum-Hossain and Mia Vilcins, we run craft workshops across London and the UK for adults and children, private parties, corporate groups and at community and creative events.

We launched in 2012 and during that time have inspired over 4,000 people to craft together and worked with brands, charities and organisations including Mind, Breast Cancer Care, The Southbank Centre, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The National Wedding Show and Summer University. Our aim is to make crafts fun and accessible for all.

We use every day materials to make spectacular crafts that everyone will enjoy making too, whether you’re a beginner or crafts connoisseur you’ll love our workshops. We hold regular events (including our legendary free craft night at The Hackney Attic) and can create bespoke workshops for your needs, for all ages and skill levels.

I had a fantastic night. The two ladies from The Make Escape were friendly and helpful and created a very relaxed atmosphere. There were loads of resources to choose from and lots of sources of inspiration provided. Was happy with the price too..

My friend and I had a lovely and creative evening and would like to commend Make Escape for their hosting skills. They looked great and were so charming and helpful I have no hesitation in recommending them for creative workshops. We both loved creating our skull brooches and were very pleased with the results!!

The Make Escape events are a valuable addition to our calendar and provides an asset to the local community by providing a space for people to come and meet, express themselves and learn a new skill.

We required craft workshops for our DIY Creative Classes. Lucky visitors learnt how to make their own wedding signage and got to take away a lovely keepsake from the show. It was a pleasure to have the team on board.

I’m always impressed by Momtaz’s knowledge and passion for all things craft. Her enthusiasm for craft and sunny personality make her a pleasure to work with.
